Keystone Resort is located 90 miles west of Denver International Airport via Interstate 70 to the Dillon/Silverthorne exit 205 and then 10 minutes east on US 6. At the base of the mountain are the River Run slopeside village and Keystone Village centered around a lake and ice rink. Those are just two of seven different neighborhoods at Keystone Resort. You can find a home in the center of the "action" or nestled in the pines. Keystone Resort normally opens the ski season by the first of November and runs through mid April. This popular resort provides a total of 116 trails, currently serviced by 22 lifts, including five high speed quads and two gondolas. The base elevation of the Outback, is a breathtaking 10,460 feet, and its top elevation hits 12,200 feet. Night skiing on illuminated trails from 4pm to 9pm give the chance to make "one more run" several times before calling it a day.
Winter isn't Keystone's only season, with two golf courses, the challenging Keystone Ranch course and the shorter Elk Run summer is a treat with the cool nights and sunny days. Horseback riding, nature walks, biking, paddle boats and canoes on Keystone Lake, and kids day camps are just a few activities that make the resort a joy for the whole family. The base of Keystone Resort offers restaurants, night spots, shops, child care, medical services, conference facilities and hotels. Dining is also available on the mountain, with the gondolas providing a warm trip up to the Summit House or the Outpost You may be lucky enough to attend an conference at Keystone. The center has meeting rooms and banquet facilities.
