in this issue We are at the height of summer. The weather has been warm for the locals, but we still have the cool nights. Lots of people enjoying Summit County. Low Interest Rates Lots of Choices ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've heard it called the "perfect storm", but what we have is very unusual. Normally if there are low interest rates then there is little on the market to pick from. Not true this year. The number of listings haven't been this high since 2002. If you have good credit and a good down payment you can take advantage of these rates. You may be able to get a 30 year fixed loan for less than 5 %. Rates do depend on your credit, how much you are putting down and the property you are buying. Besides lots of choices, there are some pretty motivated sellers, you just have to make the plunge and see what happens. This is the time you will look back and say "gosh I'm glad we did that".
