You can still contact me - phone would probably be best, I'll check messages. 800-571-1091 Time is running out ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My friendly lenders are telling me that the "Fed" will stop buying Mortgage Backed Securities at the end of March. They say that means that loan rates may be going up. Right now rates are running around 5 % for a 30 year fixed loan. Also the Homebuyer's Tax Credit is due to expire on April 30th. Just to remind you - if you are a first-time home buyer you can receive a credit of $8000. A existing homeowner can receive a $6500 credit, they must have lived in the property 5 of the last 8 years. You don't have to sell the first property, but the new property must be your principal residence. The credits do not apply to second homes or investment properties.
