in this issue Ahh... Mud Season - hey this is a step in the right direction after this past winter. All the locals that can, have left the county. The entry at the grocery store is brimming full of carts. We have some beautiful days without the people. It's a great time to look at property! New Construction in Summit County~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All of a sudden a couple months ago the number of listings increased dramatically in Breckenridge. The reason was some new complexes have officially come on the market. In fact out of the 295 condos and townhomes on the market in Breckenridge 95 of them are new construction. There are some good ski-in ski-out choices. The lowest priced new construction is a Studio unit in One Ski Hill Place for $665,000. prices go up to $2,475,000 for a 4 bedroom unit in that complex. Shock Hill Lodge and Spa near the Gondola has the most expensive condo. A four bedroom, with 2720 square feet for $3,925,000. Other new complexes are Bluesky Breckenridge ranging form $998,000 for 2 bedrooms up to $2,699,000 for four. The newest complex closer to Main Street is Waterhouse on Main Street, it's scheduled to be completed late 2009. Prices range form $975,000 for two bedrooms and $1,995,000 for three bedrooms. Those prices sure make Angler Mountain duplexes on the north side of Silverthorne look like a bargain. They have 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2295 square feet with 2 car garage for $705,000. Views of Peak One and Keystone ski runs. Wood floors and remodeled kitchen. North of Silverthorne on 20 acres there is a home for the person looking for wide open spaces.
