in this issue Last week I woke up to snow on the high peaks around Summit County. There was an inch of rain in Heeney, so that means a good base up top. I thought all of you skiers would like that update. Hopefully we will have lots of snow this winter. In the mean time we are having beautiful fall days. It's a great time to be buying property in Summit County (come to think of it - would I ever say it wasn't a good time to be buying property?). Let me know when you can look. Know Your Credit Report ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A couple weeks ago my receptionist in the office found out that her credit card number had been stolen. It was just lucky that she checked that account, otherwise she would not have known there was a problem until she received her monthly statement. Her experience made me check into my own credit report to make sure all is as it should be. Now it is possible to your to receive a free annual credit report no matter where you live in the United States. The address is www.annualcreditreport.com. This central site allows you to request a free credit report, once every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. No surprises on mine, now I'm going to put it on my calendar to check annually. Update on my listings~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Villas at Swans Nest Condo on the creek You will love the location of this two bedroom two bath ground floor condo. The perfect retreat away from your worldly cares. Two bedroom one bath and very efficient use of 960 square feet. A giant kitchen which has a sliding glass door out to the deck and back yard. Living area with wood burning fireplace and large window capturing the view. One of the two bedrooms is huge- it's furnished with two sets of bunk beds plus another bed. The cabin is being sold furnished and ready to move into. There is also a one car garage. The location is perfect - next to forest service and access to the Green Mountain Reservoir.
