in this issue I'm a bit slow at getting this newsletter out because Don and I have just spent a week in Paris! A lot of fun, but it's good to be home.

What do you get for $300,000~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ While on vacation I can't help checking out what you get for your money. Near where we were staying in Montmartre, you could get a studio apartment for around 200,000 Euros, at the current exchange rate that was around $300,000. I thought it would be fun to see what you could get in Summit County for the same amount of money. At Copper Mountain you can get a one bedroom Passage Point condo - walk to the lift, underground heated parking, 591 square feet, built in 2000. Gross rentals this past year of just over $16,000. This unit is priced at $295,000. In the Keystone area, there is a large one bedroom (865 square feet) for $299,000. It's located in the peaceful Soda Spring area away from the slopes. Outdoor pool that is open year around. The kitchen has been updated and the condo is sold fully furnished. There's a two bedroom with one bath (712 square feet) for sale in the Creekside Condos in Frisco for $299,000. It's been remodeled with wood floors and stone fireplace. Just a few blocks to Main Street. For about the same amount in Breckenridge you can get a studio unit in River Mountain Lodge Condo. Located right in town, underground garage parking, hot tub, fitness center and pool. This unit grossed almost $18,000. in short term rentals. Again proving Wildernest is where you get the most for your money is a two bedroom plus loft, two bath Treehouse condo for $299,900. New carpet.
