in this issue Hope you had a good Memorial Day. We had lots of people in Summit County, the weather was mostly good. But we did have the traditional afternoon thunderstorms, a sure sign that summer is here. The good news was - no snow (which we have had other years). On Sunday afternoon in the rain, old friends who had moved away from Summit County were bragging that they didn't have to wear a coat on Memorial Day weekend in Nebraska. True, but I wouldn't give up living in Heeney and Summit County for the world. More properties have been coming on the market this spring. There are some good new listings (see notes below), some are selling fast too. Update on my listings ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This great condo should have sold by now. Two bedroom, two bath on the ground floor with a remodeled kitchen for $147,000. The ideal property to "get your feet wet" in owning a condo/cabin in Summit County. The Treehouse complex in Wildernest is a recreation playground with outdoor tennis, picnic area, playground, two clubhouses, with game room, pools, saunas and hottubs. Monthly association dues are $380.00 but that includes heat, electricity, water, sewer, cable tv, basically everything except the phone and firewood. Wildernest, a neighborhood above Silverthorne, is a great central location for Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and even Vail. In the summer just step out your door to miles of trails into the woods. (Ask me about some of my favorites in the area). Info is here. Now all the snow is gone from all the lots I have for sale. In Silverthorne - $179,900 a third of an acre backing open space. Lots of trees and perfect slope for walk-out basement.****South of Breckenridge - $115,000 half an acre backing to National Forest. Mountain views.***In Heeney - $250,000 almost an acre above the Marina at the Green Mountain Reservoir. Here's the view. Other Properties I Have Liked~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dillon Valley - a three bedroom 2.5 bath duplex with two car garage, updated with hardwood floors and tile baths. $284,900. This one won't last long-Cabin in Heeney on a acre - just a rough one bedroom one bath, but with a two car garage for $149,900. The lot is worth almost that much. Call me right-a-way if you want to see it! Above Silverthorne in Hamilton Creek - the dreamed about log cabin in the woods. Two bedrooms, one in the loft, two baths, covered porch and private location. $429,900. Summit Cove, between Dillon and Keystone - Comfortable three bedroom three bath home on a thrid of an acre. Beautiful yard with mature trees and perennials. Close to Summit Cove Elementary. $415,000. Eagles Nest in Silverthorne - Magnificent views from this gorgeous three bedroom three bath home. Real quality feel in the design and construction. $640,000. Keystone - Five bedroom four bath in the River Course Neighborhood. Hot tub on the deck overlooks the Snake River in the back yard. Another seller rented his five bedroom house on the web and brought in $39,000 last year. $765,000. Just let me know if you would like more information on any of these properties.
